This webinar is a follow up to a webinar that was offered as a live activity on 1st December 2010 and is currently available as a podcast at:

This webinar will be live and comprised of two parts:

  • Facilitated case study panel discussion
  • Question and answers

 

Learning objectives

  • Identify discipline specific approaches to the diagnosis, treatment and management of an adolescent mental health presentation with features of depression, suicidality and cyber-bullying.
  • Recognise the ways in which mental health interdisciplinary collaboration contributes to better patient outcomes.

 

CPD Points


Australian Association of Social Workers: Participation in the webinar attracts double points (2 points per training hour), and is approved until March 2012.

Australian College of Mental Health Nurses: endorsed by the ACMHN for 1.5 CPD points 

Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine: Pending approval for core PDP points (activity number OEACR-11001-MHPN).

Australian Psychological Society: Endorsed Activity (Code: 11-110) three (3) Continuing Professional Development hours

Occupational Therapy Australia:  OT’s are able to claim up to 1.5 hours in Category 5 towards their accredited Occupational Therapy program CPD requirements.

Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists: RANZCP members are able to claim hours spent under Section 4. Self Guided Learning.

Royal Australian College of General Practitioners: This activity (activity number: 752876) has been approved by the RACGP QI&CPD Program for 6 Category 2 points.
