Learning Objectives

At the completion of the session participants will be able to:

  • Recognise the key principles of intervention and the roles of different disciplines in assessing, treating and supporting a young person who is experiencing cyber-bullying
  • Better understand the merits, challenges and opportunities in providing collaborative care to a young person who is experiencing cyber-bullying.  


CPD points

Australian Association of Social Workers: CPE Points - 2 per learning hour.

Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN): This activity has been endorsed for 2 CPE points by the ACMHN Accreditation Committee for Endorsement.

Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP): Members can claim hours spent under Section 4. Self Guided Learning.

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP): The activity ID is 764765. It has been allocated 4 category 2 points.

Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine: To be confirmed

Australian Psychological Society: APS Members can accrue Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours by participating in CPD activities that they determine to be relevant to their individual professional skills, learning plans and goals. These may be self-initiated. CPD activities do not need to be endorsed by the APS. 

Occupational Therapy Australia: Occupational Therapy Australia joined the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme on July 1, 2012.

As such, responsibility for CPD compliance has transferred to the Australian Health Professions Regulatory Authority (AHPRA) and currently neither AccOT or AHPRA are accrediting courses for CPD points.

We will still be issuing attendance certificates for all our webinars, and you should still be able to claim professional points or hours accordingly as self-guided or self-directed learning. For more information please go to the Occupational Therapy Board website.
