Description: Speaker bio: Associate Professor Steve Macfarlane is Director of Aged Psychiatry at Caulfield Hospital, where he has worked since 2008. Prior to that he spent 17 years at Peninsula Health, and also spent a period of time on a secondment as Deputy Chief Psychiatrist for the state of Victoria. His research interests include senile squalor, and clinical trials in Alzheimer's disease. On the lighter side, he has been a presenter on 3RRR's (102.7 FM) Sunday morning "Radiotherapy" programme, since it commenced in 1995, where he talks regularly on psychiatry in film.
