What is a Diabetes MHPN?

A group of interdisciplinary practitioners, working in the mental health, chronic disease and other related sectors, who meet voluntarily four or more times per year. Meetings focus on the interplay of diabetes and psychology, and how practitioners can collaborate better to support the health and mental health of people living with diabetes. 

Members include psychologists, social workers, mental health nurses, GPs, psychiatrists, OTs, counsellors, dietitians/nutritionists, registered nurses, diabetes educators, endocrinologists, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists.
